Laura was born in Etobicoke, Ontario, and raised in the scenic rural town of Bancroft, near Algonquin Park. Her early years in nature inspired a love for the outdoors and a variety of hobbies. A talented artist, Laura enjoys painting, drawing, needlework, stained glass, baking, and making preserves. She's also an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys fishing, hunting, and ATVing.
Family is at the heart of Laura’s life. She is the proud mother of two children, stepmother to four, and grandmother to eight—five girls and three boys.
Professionally, Laura holds a diploma as a Legal Assistant and has earned all seals from the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario. She is a licensed real estate agent and is completing both her Bachelor of Science and her certification with the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
Her career includes experience as a florist, appraiser, legal assistant, real estate agent, and retail sales representative in grocery and hardware sectors—showcasing her adaptability and broad skill set.
Based in Inverness and Victoria Counties, Laura also serves Richmond, CBRM, Antigonish, and Guysborough. Married and deeply connected to her community, Laura continues to balance her career with a rich family life and creative pursuits.
