A proud Cape Breton native who grew up in the historic community of Whitney Pier, Melissa spent the last decade working throughout the country in the construction industry, specializing in major projects and representing EHS Management positions for various fortune 500 companies.
While living away from Nova Scotia, Melissa began to concentrate her efforts on property retention, renovation and rentals and soon found herself deeply invested in the real estate industry of Nova Scotia. “It did not matter what the project was, buying, renovating, renting or selling, it all sparked joy. I began to seek out educational information that would help to grow my portfolio and committed my personal time to a hands-on approach of the construction and design process. The highlight has always been seeing the excitement on a buyer or tenants face when seeing their new home for the first time.” Fast forward 15 years, Melissa and her family have permanently relocated to Nova Scotia, purchasing their dream home in 2022.
